Dear Host Family, I am a Taiwanese boy studying in junior high school. I want to learn and explore the outside world. I really want to experience American culture and food! I like to play sports, such as table tennis, swimming, baseball, and basketball. My favorite outdoor activity is scuba diving. I have a PADI open water diver license. I enjoy watching sea animals swim. I also enjoy watching movies, especially Marvel and anime. I have been playing the drums for 4 years, and it always makes me feel happy. I speak two different languages, Mandarin and Taiwanese. Though I started learning English when I was a kid, I still need to improve my communication skills. My dad and mom are both financial managers. My dad works in a company that makes pen motor housings, and my mom works in an egg company. My younger brother is five years younger than me, and he is in 4th grade. I have seen many YouTubers traveling around America, which has made me more determined to go to America and learn about your culture. I think that I can create beautiful memories. I am really excited to be part of your family. I can't wait to share Taiwanese culture with my host family. I also would like to show my host family how we celebrate the different Chinese festivals. For example, Moon Festival, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Lantern Festival, etc. Also, I can share the food. For example, stinky tofu, rice dumpling and booba milk tea. Kind regards,
