Hello dear future host family,
May I introduce myself to you first. I am Arthur, a Franco-Luxembourgish student in France.
I don't have a lot of hobbies but they is a really big one.
Firstly I do a lot of Horse Riding with my 11 horse and ponys!!! Like you likely have already understood I'm not taking care of them all by myself, my 2 brothers Morgan and Alexandre and my parents take care of them with me. This main hobby already takes almost all my free time after school and a good portion of Saturday and Sunday.
When I'm at home and I have finished my homeworks I play multiplayer video games when I got time left after taking care of what task my parents gave me.
I also like discovering new thing and history. I always try to get a taste of everything that I can and I love taking care of my Dog and Cat; Rocket and Groot. We named them after the Marvel movie The Guardians of the Galaxy.
But there is one thing that I just can't take: it's spicy meal or soda with gas inside, yeah it's kind of strange but I just can't eat this kind of food. It’s like eating my mouth even if for the other they're just a little bit spicy.
So enough of me! Time for my family don't you think ?
My Dad is a full time dad. He is always taking care of us and of our horses and he love doing so. On the other hand my Mother is working a lot in Luxemburg as a CPA (public chartered accountant) and always take care of us when she can.
My brothers : Morgan 18 months older than me and Alexandre 4 years younger. They are not the best I think; but they could be worse. Between messing with me and minding their own business they can be pretty cool and I can almost always take a good laugh with them.
My grandparents from my mother side live ride next to us. Literally our garages share the same wall. I love spending time with them. Unfortunately, my grandmother has multiple sclerosis so my granddad and us have a lot to do when taking care of them but they are super cool and we love them as much as they love us (a lot).
But their is still a great question remaining; why do I want to get a year in the United States of America.
I would really enjoy a year in the USA for discovering new things, a new culture, another way of living my life with new peoples. Also changing my lifestyle. Improving my knowledge on the world and obviously, improving my english skills. I would love to have the ability to travel around the US but this is as well ok just to discover your area and community and making new friends for life.
Thank you for reading this whole letter !
Farewell and I'm already excited to meet you !
