Dear future host family, I would be very happy to meet you, thank you for participating in the exchange program! I should write a few words about myself here so you can see if I suit you. People who know me say that I am an open, friendly, familiar and polite person. I play a lot of basketball (almost every day) and train hard to one day be a pro basketball player. In Germany I play in the second highest youth league, although I've only been playing basketball for less than 2 years. I'm very proud of that. I really enjoy spending time with people and spending time with friends. I like to meet new people and am interested in different cultures. This certainly has something to do with the fact that my family comes from three different countries (Germany, Bosnia and Lebanon). Since our family also likes to travel, I have already got to know 12 different countries. As I said before, I am a very open person and contact with people is very important to me. That's also one of the reasons why I want to go to the US, because Americans are known to be open and friendly people, and that's exactly what I'm looking for. But I don't think it will be a problem getting to know people because it happens quickly through sport. We have traveled Europe for most of my life so far.
