My dear host family, I am grateful that you enable me this new experience. I have a family, who likes to play games and also to travel. Between my parents and my father's family, there is an ongoing competition. Once a month, we play a chosen game and the family who wins gets the gaming trophy. Through my parents, I discovered my love for traveling. When I was born, my Mother promised me “I show you the world”. And she keeps her promise. Since my fifth birthday, I travel every year to another country. Starting with Mexico, participating my uncle's wedding. Since then, we visited half of Europe. At our last trip, we went to the Netherlands during the tulip-season. I'd love if you could show me the US. Until recently, I was not interested in cooking. I was the one who eats. Lately, my interest in cooking grew. Maybe I am capable to prepare one or two German dishes till my stay at your home. I am curious for American cuisine. Do you have any pets? I love dogs, but my dad says that we have no time for an own dog. My sister has fishes. From time to time, our neighbor's cat shows up for petting. Aside from this, I am an average teenage girl. I go shopping with friends or eat ice cream with them. Sometimes we meet to learn in a café. I hope I also find friends in America, who like these kinds of things too.
