Hello dear host family, I'm Ben. I live with my two parents and my younger brother in a small town in The Netherlands. I’m very close to my whole family and really enjoy spending time with them, I have been to various events and concerts with them and I walked the four days of Nijmegen, which is four days of walking forty kilometers or almost twenty five miles every day with almost everyone from my fathers side. Some of my hobby's are: running, soccer, video games and hanging out with friends. I play soccer 3 times a week for my club and also sometimes with my friends. Besides playing I also like to watch sports, especially soccer but I also enjoy other sports like basketball or tennis. My soccer matches are always on saturday, and I work in a hotel every Sunday morning, where i clean the rooms for the guests. At home I also clean sometimes but mostly my own room and I cook sometimes when my parernts are busy. I also really enjoy listeng to music. My music taste is very random, i enjoy artists like Kanye west and Eminem but also Bruno Mars, lady gaga, AC/DC, Nirvana and much more. And have a ton of different genres in my playlist. In the future I want to become a pilot in a fighter jet for the Royal Air Force in The Netherlands, I wanted to do this almost my whole life because I want to mean something for my country and I really enjoy flying and fighter jets. The reason I signed up for a exchange program in the first place is because I'm very intrested in the American culture and how different life is there in comparison with the Netherlands. I also really look forward to playing sports at school and the whole atmosphere around high school sports. Best regards, Ben
