Dear host family, Thank you very much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family. I am a Spanish girl and I am finishing my high school studies. I like to try new experiences, meet people from other cultures and I want to travel the world, including the United States. I want to learn about American culture and discover new things. I love sports. I am a very extroverted, sociable, creative, kind person and I really enjoy everything. I enjoy playing sports, such as Track and Field, basketball, badminton and sky. I speak Spanish and hope to be able to speak English fluently. I really like cooking and painting it relaxes me a lot , and I would like to learn American recipes since there is a lot of variety. I really like music and I enjoy all genres and I would like to know more about traditional American music. I understand that I may not be able to join some activities that I would like, so I am interested in trying other things and joining new things. My dad is an orthopedic surgeon, he has a clinic and he loves basketball. My mom is a marketing manager and she loves sports. There are 4 of my brothers, my older brother is 17 years old and he likes motorcycles. My younger brother is 12 years old and he likes soccer. My sisters are 14 and 10 years old, and they like basketball. I have a very varied group of friends who I love going out with and I have a great time. I think that dance, art, music and food are the most important parts of Spanish culture. I am happy to share the beauty of Spanish culture with my host family. I would also like to show my host family typical Spanish food or art. For example, spanish omelette, paella, fallas, flamenco, etc. Additionally, I can share knowledge about Spanish music and food, especially the amazing flavor of paella and jamon serrano. I will also sing you some popular Spanish traditions. I have always dreamed of going on an exchange, several friends have gone and say that the experience is incredible.
