Dear host family,
First of all, thank you very much for the hospitality and for letting me live with your family.
My name is Ilse and i live in the Netherlands. I really want to experience the culture and country of America. I have always been interested in America and that is one of the reasons why I really want to go to America.
I live at home with my parents and brother, and we also have a dog. In my spare time I twirl, which is a sport with a kind of stick called a baton, where you have to do all kinds of exercices and tricks. I've been doing that since I was seven years old or something around that age.
I would like to experience and get to know new countries all over the world.I would like to go to a high school to learn how things are going in the United States and to get to know the culture and the people. And it looks very nice.
I like to do things with friends like shopping and things like that. But also with my parents I really like to do things and go somewhere like during holidays and stuff.
I don't quite know what I want to do later, but I do know that I might want to go into care or join the police. When I go into care, I want to do something with children, because I really enjoy working with children. And the police seem like a lot of fun work because you can help a little bit of people and it's a little different every day.
I think it would be very nice to give my host family a bit of my culture and what the traditions are in my country, so I'm really looking forward to that.
I'm looking forward to meet you,
Ilse
