Dear host family, I am excited writing this letter to introduce myself because it is the first step of this incredible adventure. My name is Lilas, I am a french girl growing in the south of France. I live with my mom, my dad and my little sister, in the house built by my father himself. I am very proud and close to them. I look like shy at first sight but i like meeting new people and get new friends. I am curious and dynamic. Among what I love to do in my life, there are dancing, cooking, watching movies, especially Marvel movies. I also appreciate spending my time in reading books, creating DIY things and learning more about Formula 1 (wich is equal to IndyCar). I have ability to adapt myself to different environments. My entourage tells me often that I am mature and I think this is thanks to the way my parents raised me. I am the babysitter of my little cousin for three years and during summer I am used to have jobs like cleaning lady or dogsitter. I am so gratful to have discovered this program thanks to the social network three years ago because now I can realize one of my dream; travel to the USA. Indeed, I have always been interested by learning english, I have also an interest of the American culture and lifestyle. Moreover, This is an amazing life experience which is expecting me: discover high school, local sport, yellow bus, food. I would love to take part of a volunteering program during this year. The most meaningful thing for me in this program will be to live within your family. I am really grateful that you allow me to share a part of your life and that you dedicated some time for me.
