Hello ! My name is Juliette, I’m from France. My friends describe me as someone who is motivated, dedicated, benevolent and who has some character. I will add I am a little shy but after the adaptation period, which will not take a long time I hope, I’m rather open-minded and outgoing. Moreover, I’m very close to my family especially my big and little sisters, they are the persons who are the most important for me. My parents are separated and it was complicated for me to accept this situation but not it’s better now and I’m really happy. At home I take care a lot of my sister so I know how to take care of a child or children, I think I’m a responsible person. I help a lot for tasks in my house (set the table, iron...), I am used to doing the housework so it is with pleasure that I will help you to clean the house or anything else ! For my hobbies, I’m fond of playing basketball since I turned 5. I train 2-3 times per week with a match on Sundays because I play with adults otherwise games are on Saturdays. And I love reading especially romance books. At school, I am a good student with good grades. In France and in the second year in highschool, we must choose three subjects added to the normal subjects like mathematics, history, sciences... I chose AMC, it’s a subject in which I learn English in greater depth, SES satanding for Social and Economy Sciences in France and HGGSP to learn how the world works (History and Geopolitics). I have four hours per week of each subject. I also have an option which is to learn the history and the geography in English. In total, I have 8h30 of Enlish, so we can say I like English ! To finish, I would like to study in an American Highschool for a whole year. Why in the USA and why in a high school ? First, I have chosen this country in order to for sure learn English but above all to discover a new culture and new people on the other side of the world.
