KANOKPIT
's Letter
Hello! My name is Kanokpit, but you can call me Kylie for easier. I would say I’m the kind of person who enjoys trying new things. I love traveling, having fun, and joining different activities. I also enjoy calculating and analyzing things, and sometimes I just like to be in a calm and peaceful mood. I’m in Grade 10, and my favorite subjects are Mathematics and Physics. At school, I have joined several activities such as playing basketball in the sports competition (though I’m not that great at it!), walking in the parade with a fancy costume on Sports Day, being the EMCee for school events, and performing in the scout camp show.
I am interested in being a cheerleader because in American high school, cheerleading lasts longer as a seasonal activity, which is different from Thailand, where cheerleading only happens on Sports Day. With my friends at school, I usually play basketball, play board games, and make TikTok dance clips. After class, we often hang out at the shopping mall to have dinner together. Sometimes we also go to karaoke, watch movies. There are four people in my family: my dad, my mom, my older brother, and me. We like to watch movies together both at home and at the cinema. We also enjoy traveling to the mountains, going camping, and playing badminton. With my brother, I usually play basketball with him. I don’t have any pets at home, but I really wish I did! I can take responsibility for housework and help you with some chores. I can wash dishes, do laundry, sweep the floor, help prepare meals, and of course keep my room clean. The reason I want to go to the United States is that I have loved American movies and music since I was young. I want to experience a new culture and way of life. I also want to improve my English skills. I’m excited to join festivals I’ve always dreamed of, such as Christmas and Halloween, and do activities that we don’t have in Thailand. My dream universities are Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University, both of them are famous universities in Thailand. I haven’t chosen a faculty yet because I’m still discovering myself, but I’m interested in Accounting, Economics, and Law.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. I’m really excited about the chance to stay in the United States with you and to share many wonderful experiences together. I look forward to meeting you soon and becoming part of your family.
Warm regards,
Kylie
