Dear future host family, at first I want to thank you for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family. My name ist Kristian, I am 15 years old and I live in Germany. I live with my Mom, Dad and my two younger sisters, who are 13 and 9 years old. We live in a house in a small town near Düsseldorf. Unfortunately I don‘t have any pets although I love animals and I do horsebackriding. My father works as an industrial engineer and my mother is a highschool teacher for Maths and Sports. I am in 9th grade and my favorite subjects are English and Sports. In my freetime I help younger students to improve their Maths and German skills, I read a book, meet friends or I play some video games. My hobbies are horsebackriding and swimming and I also am a big fan of Marvel. At home I have to clean up my bedroom and in summer I have to care for our pool. I also have been playing the piano for 7 years. I want to become an exchange student in the US, because I like the American culture which I know through movies and books and I like the landscape. I also would love to experience being at a real high school. An exchange semester would also be a great chance to improve my English skills. I would like to simply live in a foreign country. In fact, I love spending time with my friends and family. I go to church every week and we also have a youthgroup from church at our home.
