Dear host family, Thank you so much for being so open and willing me to live with your family. I am a half German and half Turkish girl who lives in Germany and will have completed 10th grade by the start of the program. I enjoy growing up with two cultures and look forward to explore new ones especially the American one. I have many interests for example reading, listening to music is a big passion of mine also I enjoy watching movies or series. Sometimes I bake a cake or some muffins. Maybe we could bake something together one day ? I love to hangout with my friends, go to the mall with them or visit the cinema and spend time around the people I love. I think while being around the people you love you create the best memories. Even though I am not currently participating in any sport I tried many throughout the years such as surfing, boxing, horse riding, dancing and ice- skating. I am a very open minded, friendly, creative person.I love to meet new people and make new friendships. I speak four languages which are German, Turkish, Spanish and English. One of the things I am most excited for is joining one of the school clubs. I thought about cheerleading or another sport if it's possible or maybe something artistic. My mom has her own bakery and my dad works as an industrial mechanic. He has a huge interest for cars. Do you guys have any special interests ? Also I have an older sister and three dog's. We are a fun, loving and close family. After I graduated I plan on going to college abroad to see more of the world but also study at the same time. I don’t know what exactly I want to study yet but maybe my exchange year will even help me figure it out. I am looking forward to live my best time during my exchange year and hope that you as my host family will take a big part in it. I can’t wait to get to know you all and become a part of your family!
