's Letter

Dear host families, I've always wanted to have the chance to live in the United States since I was a little girl, and I am so happy that I found this program to be able to do an exchange year. I can't really define myself, but a lot of my close ones always describe me as : mature for my age, sometimes hyperactive, hardworking, respectful, athletic, lazy, smart, outgoing, independent, kind, ambitious and enthusiastic. I love animals, I grew up with two cats, and when I would go to my summer camp in Connecticut, since they had a farm, I would go there and help out with the animals. I grew up with 3 older brothers, so I grew up in an interesting environment that made me who I am today. I love learning new cultures, visiting new cities and countries and meeting new people. I also love making new friends, and I socialize easily. I have done a lot of sports since I was a kid, such as tennis, volleyball, karate, swimming, and I currently do gymnastics, which I love. On Saturdays, I take acting classes, which helps me gain confidence. As a hobby, I love cooking pastries, deserts, meals and breakfast. I find it relaxing and interesting discovering new recipes and new traditional meals. I am self-sufficient, when I need to do something I never forget to do it, when someone tells me to do something they never have to tell me twice, I always do my homework and make time for myself. Sometimes I can be exhausted, but at other times I can be an active teenager, dancing or singing, or always wanting to do something. I love watching movies at home with other people, or playing board and video games. I would also like to thank you for taking into consideration my application and for giving me the opportunity to realize my dream. I hope this letter will be helpful for you and your family to determine whether or not I am a good match for you. Chloé
