Dear future Host family, Thank you so much for reading my letter and giving me the chance to get to know me better. My Name is Mika and I live with my Mom, my Dad, my older brother Matti and our three dogs in a small town near the Baltic Sea. I'm in tenth grade of highschool and I drive to school everyday by bus. My Mom Kathrin is a doctor for gynecology and my Dad works as a police officer. My parents are very committed to animal rescue, that is why we have three dogs from Spain, who didn't have a good past. I love having them around, cause they are so thankful and the are very lovely. I am very interested in sports and fitness. I try to use every free time to go to the gym or play volleyball or basketball, but I would also love to try football or baseball. At school I am active in rowboat races which I really enjoy. I think a am a total "normal" teenager. I love beeing around friends and family, but I also like to play computergames sometimes. I am looking forward to learn more about the culture of your Country and would love to be a part of your family. To take part in an exchange year in the USA has been a dream of mine for a long time. My Mom did an exchange highschoolyear in Indiana and allways told us about how great that experience has been for her. My brother Matti just returned from his highschool year in Idaho and he had such a wonderful time, too.
