Noa
's Letter
Dear host family,
Thank you very much for agreeing to participate in the exchange program and for accepting me to live with your family.
I am a French boy named Noa and I am in high school. I like to try new things and I want to explore the world, including America. I want to learn more about American culture and share your life.
I love basketball. I am a very social, ambitious, serious, sensitive and fun-loving person. I like to play sports, like basketball. I speak French, and I look forward to becoming fluent in English. Although I don't have the opportunity to learn astronomy or go to high school soccer games in France, I want to participate in these activities in America.
I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old and it makes me happy when I play. I love basketball and I hope to join the school basketball team in America. I understand that I may not be able to join my school's basketball team, so I will look for a basketball club outside of my school.
My father is a technician for the train company in Belgium, he is in charge of repairing electrical breakdowns on trains and he loves to travel. My mother is a hairdresser and likes to do sewing. My younger sister is two years younger than me. We are a close family and I hope to become a part of your family too.
I think French food and language are the most important parts of French culture. I am happy to share the beauty of French culture with my host family. I would also like to show my host family how we celebrate different French holidays.
When I saw the wonderful pictures of Ayusa's exchange student, it made me more determined to go to America and experience your culture. I believe that I can also take amazing pictures and have unforgettable memories with you and my new friends in America. I am delighted to become a part of your family!
Best wishes,
Noa
