Dear host family, Thank you very much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with you. I am a Spaniard high school student. I love visiting other countries and learning about new cultures, and I am looking forward to living my American dream. I would love to immerse myself in the American culture and also share the Spaniard culture with you. I love basketball and everything related to it. I've been playing basketball since I was four years old and I love sports in general. I am a very athletic, creative, sociable and fun boy, as well as a good student. My mother tongues are Catalan and Spanish, but I have been studying English at school for the last 11 years. My father owns a company that offers marketing and sports courses. My mother is a bank manager and she loves fashion. My brother Pol is three years older than me and he also loves to play basketball. He is one of the reasons I started playing. At home I always help clear the table or take out the dishwasher. I am a very tidy boy and I like to keep my room clean. Also at school I like to keep my notes clean and study calmly and without distractions. I have many friends at school but my best friend is called Lucas. We have been friends since we started school, at the age of 3, and we also play on the same basketball team. When I am an adult I would like to have a job that allows me to travel to many different countries. Traveling with my friends and having a good time with them is one of my dreams. They are the most important thing to me after my family. Some months ago, a friend of mine told me about his experience of studying in the US and living with an American family. Since then, I have been determined to go to the United States and have my own experience abroad, and I thank my parents for supporting me in this.
