's Letter

Dear Host Family, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to introduce myself and express my excitement about the opportunity to live with you as a part of the exchange program. First of all, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am from Germany and I am passionate about playing chess, table tennis and snowboarding in winter. In my free time, I also love spending time with my friends and family. My father is a sales director in the data business and besides business he enjoys playing music and mountain biking. My mother works in the travel industry and in her leisure time she likes to travel as well and spend time with her friends. My brother is two years younger than me and attends the same school as I do. The reason I am interested in attending high school and living in the United States with an American family is to improve my English language skills and broaden my horizons by gaining a new perspective on the world. I am eager to learn about American customs and traditions and immerse myself in the culture. As for my future plans, I hope to explore my interests while finishing my education. I aim for financial independence and to form long-lasting friendships along the way. I understand that living with a host family is a big responsibility, but I am confident that I can be a good guest and a good student. I am looking forward to being a part of your family and learning from you. Thank you for considering me as your exchange student. I can’t wait to meet you and get started on this exciting journey! Warm Regards, Marvin
