Dear Host Family, My name is Emily. I love to spend time with family, small trips or just a simple game evening together. I also love to read from novels to horror to pyschology I have read a lot. I love to meet with friends, talk, have fun so what you just do with friends. I am rather open, talk a lot and I am not shy in any way, I ask even if I do not understand something. I help in the household for a long time and will do the same with them, simple things like taking out the trash, cooking food, doing the dishes, vacuuming and so on. We live in a big family house in a small village that I love very much. My mother works mostly in the office and is sometimes on business trips. My brother is currently still in training as a construction mechanic. A great passion of all of us is traveling, even before we were "little" we often flew on vacation or went on cruises. I love to get to know new places and cultures, this is also one of the reasons why I would like to do this year abroad. I hope you can help me get to know the American culture better. What motivates me the most is that if I know the English language well, it will make it easier for me to study psychology later on. Since about half a year I go to gym, a new passion that I have just discovered for myself. Something that is already a long passion of mine is swimming, since I was 4 years old I have been a member of DLRG, the German Life Saving Association. I love to swim for my life. Something I have neglected lately is acting, 2-3 years ago I was in an acting club at school, but due to corona this no longer takes place.
