Dear future host family, My name is Lina and I live in southern Germany. I live together with my mother and my brother who is 2 and a half years older than me. My parents are divorced since I was 6 years old. Every two weekends I go to my fathers place. Both of my parents are police officers. At home I help my mother by doing the dishes, the laundry and just keeping everything as clean as possible. In my free time I like to meet up with friends and do things with them such as picnicking or baking. I also like to read, go jogging, listen to music, draw, write little poems and play table tennis or soccer sometimes. My week is pretty decent I wake up at 06:30am to get ready for school. Most days my school ends at 03:30pm or sometimes at 01:00pm so that I can meet up with friends after school when I don’t have to study for an exam. On Monday I go to the gym to play table tennis with some friends at 06:00pm. Sometimes I go jogging with a friends in the evening. Every Friday I eat lunch at my grandmas so that I see here once a week. On weekends I also like to meet up with friends or do something with my family such as watching a movie, playing games or go for a walk (in the winter we often go for a walk in the mountains where it has snow). I would describe myself as an open, adapting, ambitious, organized and honest person. I want to do an exchange year in the USA because it was always a dream of mine to live there and to get to know the culture and to see how different it is to Germany.
