Dear Host Family, thank you so much for being willing to paticipate in the exchange program and accepting me to life with your Family. I am Jella and I just finished primary school. I live in a house together with my mom, my dad, my little brother and normally with my sister, but she is in america right now. My mother works at a bank and she is a very creative person so she loves crafting, my dad also works at a bank and in his freetime he likes to go hiking or to go to concerts together with his buddies. My brother is 9 years old and my sister is 17 years old. Both love playing soccer. I love travelling around the world and getting to know about different languages, cultures, food and landscapes. I would like to take part in the american highschoollife and earn new experiences. I would like to learn a lot about the american culture but I would also like to show something of the german culture, if you are interested in. I would say I am a very open minded person and I am not scared o talk with strangers. I love sports in general but I most enjoy swimming. In a competitive team I do swimming since 8 years. At the weekends I often take part at competitions. This swimmingteam is an important part of my life, because I met most of my friends there.
