Dear host family, Thank you for reading this. My name is Nathan. I have several hobbies such as cars, fitness and travel. I like listening to music, especially old music. I love to discover new things like new landscapes, new cultures and traditions. I’m a very open-minded person. I can easily talk about anything without discomfort. I will listen to you, your opinion, your ideas, values… I think that’s what makes me a person who can create bonds with different people without issues. I’m determined, optimistic, confident, I like long debate and discussion. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My parents raised me to be honest, respectful towards people, but also to be independent and to adapt myself to new environments. At home, I sometimes take care of household chores. I’ve always been attracted to the United States because I think the lifestyle is different from France. I’ve always wanted to discover their traditions, that’s why being in a host family is so important for me. Each States have a different landscape which makes them unique. I have chosen to be in total immersion to improve my English skills and to discover the American school system, but especially to create bonds with new people. When I am older I would like to be a software engineer then start my own company. I’m sure that speaking English will be very helpful.
