Dear my host family, My name is Mathis and I live in France. It would be a great pleasure to be accepted in your family, because my biggest dream is to live the daily life of an American in an American family. I love discovering new cultures and I would especially like to discover more about the American culture because I have already been to the United States on vacation and I loved the landscapes, the people, the food, the culture so I would like to discover much more of the country. I want to go to high school because the American school system seems to be better than the French one. In my life in France, I am a serious person and involved in life in general, I like to discover new people in spite of my shyness, when I don't know people well yet, but which goes away when I know them more. I love to go out and have fun with my friends and I have a very good relationship with my family members. My parents are separated, I live mainly with my mother and sister and I go to my father's house every other weekend. I also love pets and the best one for me is the cat, because I have one. At school, I have always had good grades and good behavior. In domestic life, I can help with household chores, if there are pets, I can help take care of them too. In life, I love soccer, I don't play it very often but I watch almost all the games of the first leagues of France, England, Spain and champions league and I'm a big fan of PSG and Real Madrid teams. At the moment I'm starting to get interested in and enjoy basketball and I'm also starting to watch some NBA games. I also love music, I can't go a day without listening to music. I listen to a little bit of everything and my favorite artist is Kendrick Lamar. My plans are to study finance and then work in finance abroad, specifically in the United States.
