Youth Leadership Scholar awards are granted to applicants on the basis of availability, academic merit and financial need. Besides meeting general AYUSA admissions criteria, successful scholarship candidates will show strong interest in community service and demonstrate commitment to their study abroad experience by raising funds on their own.

The application deadlines for Youth Leadership Scholar awards are:

Fall, summer, academic year programs – March 1st, 2005
Spring semester programs – September 1st, 2005
