What's Included

Ayusa High School Study Abroad programs include more features than many other study abroad programs.

Ayusa High School Study Abroad participants will receive:

  • Round-trip airfare from an Ayusa hub city (excluding US domestic flights, taxes & fuel surcharges) While subject to change, hub cities are generally as follows: San Francisco for programs in Asia and Australia; Washington D.C. for programs in Europe and India, and Miami for programs in Latin America 
  • Student health and accident insurance
  • Pre-departure and in-country orientations
  • Placement with a carefully selected host family or in a residence hall, including food and lodging expenses
  • Academic Year and Semester Programs: Enrollment in a local high school and support from a Local Coordinator
  • Summer Cultural Exploration Programs: Language and Culture classes as well as activities organized by an Ayusa On-Site Coordinator
  • Supervision, guidance, and support during the application process and throughout the entire program
  • Student Handbook to prepare students and provide helpful tips on studying abroad
  • 24-hour emergency assistance

Possible additional fees:

  • Personal expenses (e.g., toiletries, clothing, internet, calling card, activities)
  • School expenses (e.g., private school tuition, uniform [if necessary], lunches [depending on program], supplies, bus pass)
  • Passport and visa application fees, as determined by destination country
