Our Study Abroad team is available to provide you with support every step of the way! We want to make sure that you choose the right program and get your application in on time. Be sure to get started early as our most popular programs fill up quickly.

Five Easy Steps to Study Abroad:

• Contact Us - We can determine the best high school program to fit your needs and make sure all of your questions are answered. Call a knowledgeable Study Abroad Program Advisor at 800.579.1709, email us at studyabroadinfo@ayusa.org or submit a request for a catalogue or more information.
• Discuss Your Program - Talk with your parents and your guidance counselor about studying abroad, check to see if you need transferable credits from your school abroad.Our knowledgeable program advisors are trained to guide you through this process.
• Apply Online - Applications are country and program specific. Be sure to read our helpful Application Process section.
• Acceptance Process - After we receive your completed application for a semester or academic year program, we will schedule an interview to get to know you better, and to evaluate your application more closely. The phone interview is the final step in your application process before acceptance. Students applying to our summer programs are not required to have an interview generally.
• Next Steps - Once you are fully accepted into a program, AYUSA will ensure your lodging with a carefully selected host family or dorm stay, provide a pre-departure orientation, and supply you with helpful information throughout your planning stages and while on program.
