Host Exchange Students

AYUSA believes that the exchange of friendship and ideas between American youth and their international peers is one of the greatest ways we can foster a more enlightened generation of young citizens and future world leaders.  Schools are integral in ensuring that our next generation of students is equipped to succeed in our global society.

When American high schools generously open their doors, they help create a world classroom where learning and sharing take on new meaning for everyone.  AYUSA students add diversity to schools, inspire American students to view the world differently, and allow each lesson to be seen through global lenses.

Our exchange students look forward to studying at an American high school and enjoy the variety of classes offered, the dedication of teachers, school spirit, and the opportunity to join extra-curricular activities.  AYUSA students have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership in their own schools, and also understand the importance of giving back by engaging in community service during their stay in your community.

As a token of sincere appreciation, AYUSA awards any school that hosts 2 or more exchange students a $500 scholarship to use at their discretion towards any of our study abroad programs. You may combine up to 3 coupons, a value of $1500, to award to any one student.  We hope that one or more of your own American students who is interested in studying abroad and exploring other cultures will be able to use this to help them realize their dreams and achieve their goals.
