Star Student of the Month, March 2012

CR Miki in the Northwest nominated Fabienne from Switzerland as March’s Star Student. Here is what Miki had to say about Fabienne:
 
Fabienne is a very mature, polite, well-mannered young lady. She consistently receives high marks in her classes at Southridge High School and her instructors always have very positive things to say about her. She is well liked by other students and has made many friends.

Fabienne just finished up the Winter sports season, participating on the school Ski Team. She placed well enough to go to the State completion.

The Bonkowski family have taken her into their home as just another family member, and she has managed to win the hearts of the entire family. Fabienne has learned about and enjoyed watching College football with her host father Mike. She also goes to the local gym with Mike when she can. She helps around the home with the dogs, grandbabies and basic household life. 

Fabienne is having a great experience in Oregon. She is here for the right reasons: to live as an American teenager and learn about America as well as teach others about her life in Switzerland. She is making memories for herself and will be remembered by so many people after her return to Switzerland.

I am very happy to be Fabienne's Community Representative and am proud of her achievements that she has made so far.
