Ayusa Student Crowned Homecoming King
We would like to share this exciting story of our dear son Cyrill. Cyrill arrived from Germany, on July 31, 2010 at the Minneapolis Airport. He was greeted there by his host family the Mores of Estherville, Iowa. Since arriving, Cyrill has become a valued and loved member of the family and also at his school. Within a week of arriving Cyrill joined the Estherville Lincoln Central Midget's football team and earned the job of varsity kicker.
The week before homecoming he was nominated a Homecoming King Candidate along with 3 other Senior boys. At Coronation on Thursday, September 23rd he was CROWNED Homecoming King!!! The Midget football team also won 34-3 with 2 of those points coming from Cyrill's successful PATs.
Cyrill was given the nickname Cisco by Sara's dad and most of the students and teachers call him this since his name is harder to pronounce than it looks. The football season has finished and Cyrill is looking forward to playing varsity basketball this winter. Cyrill is very kind and sincere and we love having him as our son.
