Study Abroad with AYUSA

AYUSA Study Abroad programs provide teenagers with a once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the world and themselves. We operate 43 summer, semester, and academic year long programs in 13 countries, and on 6 continents. AYUSA brings over 20 years of experience to cultural exchange and our programs are all designed to be culturally dynamic, adventurous, and supported by headquarters and in-country staff.

Living in another country, immersed in a different language, and learning about a new culture all lend to a teenager’s sense of independence, confidence, and ability to see the world through a new lens. AYUSA believes that a global vision is needed for all young people as we move into a more and more interdependent world.

Scholarships for AYUSA Host Families

All families who host AYUSA exchange students are also rewarded with a $500 scholarship; applicable to our semester or year-long study abroad programs or a $250 scholarship for a summer program. These scholarships remain valid for the first two years after your family completes hosting.
