Receiving Local Support from Ayusa

From student selection and school registration to academic and supportive counseling for each exchange student and host family, our network of community representatives are there to assist you. 

As an Ayusa host family you are assigned a local community representative (CR) who will support your family and student for the entire program.  Your professionally trained CR will visit with you and your student monthly, offering advice and guidance whenever needed.  The CR will also maintain regular contact with the local high school and complete a regular progress report, evaluating your student’s progress in family life, academic achievement and social activity.

Your Community Representative is supported by a team of Regional and National Ayusa staff who are available to you and your student 24 hours in case of emergency. Read hosting FAQs.
