Receiving Local Support from Ayusa
As an Ayusa host family you are assigned a local Community Representative (CR) who will support your family and student for the entire program. Your professionally trained CR will visit with you and your student monthly, offering advice and guidance whenever needed. The CR will also maintain regular contact with the local high school and complete a regular progress report, evaluating your student’s progress in family life, academic achievement and social activity.
Your Community Representative is supported by a team of Regional and National Ayusa staff who are available to you and your student 24 hours a day in case of an emergency.
