AYUSA is designated by the U.S. Department of State as an Exchange Visitor Program Sponsor, enabling all AYUSA participants to travel on special J-1 visas.

AYUSA is a founding member of The Council for Standards for International Education Travel. On the basis of materials submitted and reviewed, CSIET grants AYUSA full listing in the Advisory List.”

AYUSA is a member of The Alliance for International and Cultural Exchange, the pre-eminent association of international exchange organizations in the United States. The Alliance is dedicated to promoting public policies that support the growth and well-being of the international exchange sector.


AYUSA is a member of the National Association of International Educators (NAFSA), the leading forum for international exchange professionals.

Kiwanis International and Key Club International have selected AYUSA to provide premier youth exchange programs to their members and communities worldwide. Exchange students participate in local Kiwanis sponsored community service projects, which promote international friendships and create goodwill in the communities and schools they serve.

Sister Cities International (SCI) and AYUSA are partnering to provide youth exchange opportunities to SCI members. SCI/AYUSA youth exchanges will help promote long-term, substantive partnerships between U.S. and international communities to build bridges of cultural understanding and economic development and ensure a more peaceful, just world.

Rosetta Stone

Rosetta Stone supports AYUSA's administration of the YES program through providing Arabic language learning software for use in schools hosting YES students. The language package also includes teacher manuals, workbooks, student study guides, and a curriculum text. As a result of this partnership, more YES students are starting Arabic language clubs at their high schools.

CHUMSCI

The College of the Humanities and Sciences of Harrison Middleton University offers degree programs in the Humanities, Imaginative Literature, Natural Sciences, Philosophy and Religion, Social Sciences, Jurisprudence, and Education through distance education. The University is based on the idea that individuals understand what they want to learn. Students have the ability to design their own course of study and the structure of the courses allows students to enjoy a one-to-one interaction with their Tutors over the phone or through email.
